The Work Place can provide assistance with your employee recruitment and retention needs including:

  • Job posting service for full-time, part-time, seasonal or casual employment.
  • Candidate resume collection and/or screening for specific job vacancies.
  • Job seeker referrals based on employer’s criteria.
  • Resources, at no charge, regarding human resource management.
  • An office/training room to conduct job interviews and/or hold mini-job fairs.

Job Posting Service

Workplace Training Program (Information Sheet
Establishes partnerships with employers to hire and train clients and provides an alternative to classroom-based training.  At program completion, employees are expected to continue working with the employer.  Financial support is available for qualifying employers to assist with the costs associated with training a new employee.  Please call the Work Place at 780.539.5477 for more information.
