Meet Catherine

Catherine completed the two-year Business Administration Diploma in 2019. Following graduation, Catherine joined the team as an Employment Advisor in July 2019 and then transitioned into roles such as Employment Coach, and Employment Consultant over a five-year period. She has been the Employment Director for a year and a half.  Her commitment to professional development led her to earn a Career and Academic Advising Certificate from the University of Calgary in 2021, concurrently while working full-time. Catherine has completed the Advanced Certificate in Leadership at the University of Alberta in June 2024. Currently, she serves on the Business Advisory Committee for Northwestern Polytechnic’s Business Department. Catherine was born in the Grande Cache area and shares a unique history and ancestry as a distinct Indigenous group rooted in the Rocky Mountains. Having resided in Grande Prairie for nearly three decades, she holds a profound attachment and pride to the community. Grounded in principles of trust and respect, Catherine derives immense fulfillment from aiding others.
